Recording Techniques

The acoustic guitar used on 'Too Many Times' was a standard model 'Encore' left handed semi-acoustic, recorded using an ATM 27HE Audio Technica Dynamic Hyper Cardoid microphone. The electric guitar double and lead parts were performed using a Fender 'Jazzmaster' set on the bridge pick-up through a Marshall 'JCM 600' guitar amplifier, a clean sound was used to compliment the acoustic guitar.

The bass guitar used was a Fender Squire 'Jazz bass' recorded using the line-input directly into the mixing desk.

The lead and backing vocals were recorded using an ATM 27HE Audio Technica Dynamic Hyper Cardoid microphone with a pop-shield.
